A selection of some pages taken from within my abstract design interpretation of how to illustrate and update Rudyard Kipling's, The jungle Book, for modern audiences to allow for the book to be more obviously accessible as a young adult and adults book as opposed to targetting the story to just younger audiences.
The illustrations I created took inspiration from the initial illustrations within the original book itself and I added elements and touches to try to update and communicate areas of the story which I felt were relevant within my own interpretation.
